BMP Worldwide is a global company specialising in the manufacture and conversion of Technical Non Woven Textiles, Engineered Polyurethane Elastomers, Mechanical Components and Sub Systems for use in a diverse range of industrial equipment.
The company wanted a new website that showcased the core competencies of the business and attracted business from a world-wide audience. Performance Fluids Ltd is a world leader in the design, development and supply of specialist lubricants for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Earlier this month Google announced the launch of their latest innovation titled ‘Google Instant’.
This is a new search system encompassed with its search suggest feature that allows users to type in a query and a dynamic (or streamed) set of results appear as soon as you type without hitting return.
This not only makes search easier to use but also productive. Google claims that search time can be reduced between two to five seconds per search.
To experience Google Instant you’ll require a Google Account (which most users still don’t have), but it’s a matter of time before they extend this to everyone, similar to how they rolled out their personalised search late last year.

Coach House, the largest trade only supplier of Furniture and Giftware in the UK has taken £2m of online sales in its first 3 months following the redesign of their new website.
The new Coach House site, designed by Chamber Internet, is integrated with their back office system where products and stock levels are updated to the website on a regular basis. A visual front end was designed to showcase their range of high quality home and garden furniture.
Phil Lees, who manages the website for Coach House said “The new website is going better than we expected, the visibility of our 10,000 product lines was most important to us and with the new format customers are ordering far more than they were previously. The feedback we are getting on the usability and design is very positive.”

When most ladies reach a certain age their thoughts turn to retirement, long cruises and taking a rest after a full working life. But that wasn’t the case for Sylvia Hopwood, now 76, who in 1995 set up her company The Recycle Works based in Ribchester. The company specialises in environmental and composting products.
Sylvia not only decided to launch a new business but also to embrace technology to the full.
