Icy conditions greet the first Unique Women in Business event of 2012

Over 50 women braved cold and icy conditions to attend the first Unique Women in Business event of 2012 sponsored by Laura Hartley Recruitment.  Held at the historic at St Marys Chambers in Rawtenstall much business was done over a light lunch and hot drinks, sponsored by ISSL.

Anecdotally Simply Chocolicious have been asked to provide corporate chocolates, Cronkshawfold Farm were approached about their holiday cottage lets, St Marys Chambers and Eaves Hall could be working with Outdoor Elements Team Building.

A number of delegates attended for the first time, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in which to do business and plan to attend more in the future which is great news for the network.

The three businesses invited to speak about themselves were Julie McDonald of Douglass Grange; Lisa Mousley of CBT International Travel; Lesley Halliwell & Denise Bond of Acklam Bond Noor………the wine draw was won by Emma Townley of Southerns Solicitors and Marcia O’Connor of Liberty Plus Financial Services.
